Today, Chad and Zach allowed us to participate in our fathers cremation, as much or as little as we desired. They educated us on the process and today, for the first time, we put a family member to rest by way of cremation while creating new traditions. I felt very comfortable with my dads care from the moment he left our home, to the moment he went in for his bodily forms final rest. I found peace in knowing my fathers last caregivers treated not only him but our family, with dignity. The dignity comes in the form of transparency and genuine care.

They were marvelous. They really care about a family in grief. You have got to meet Stormy. She is the best! Their programs to hand out at the funeral were really colorful and great. Brooke was very helpful also. I had 2 pall bearers, the husband and the son. The 2 John's and 2 employees of the Smith Family Funeral Home carried my wife to the grave so that was already taken care of for the funeral. Wow! What service and kind folks, they are! The 2 John's were very personal and professional. Our pastor, Brother Georg Lynch, was very helpful in presiding over the service! They were very patient with me in coming up with the money to bury my wife. The aftercare person was Cathy. She was very helpful, resourceful and knowledgeable. If she didn't know the answer, she knew where to get the answer. She took some things that had to be done off my shoulders. Thanks Smith Family Funeral Home and Aftercare! I give you an A+!

The staff of the Smith Funeral Homes are nothing but incredible. From the time my husband was taken out from the hospital until he was sent to the crematorium, they really went above and beyond for our family after the sudden passing of my husband. They were able to make my husband really look like himself and at peace as our family and our said their goodbyes at his viewing. This was our family's first time needing to plan arrangements and Wade facilitated this process with ease. He was compassionate, kind and extremely accommodating to all of our requests. He consistently checked up on us during each viewings to make sure that things were going smoothly and to see if we were okay. Wade really showed his excellence for us when he stepped away from his own family and arranged a short time for my sisters in law who came from other states to see my husband on Sunday by which the funeral home is closed.
