I was lost after my father died and dont know where to begin. Harper-Talasek funeral home, the owner Dominic and his team helped put a lot of my worries at ease. Harper-Talasek was very helpful and understanding at every step. Out wishes, concerns and headaches were met with kindness, compassion and understanding. We mentioned that my fathers favorite cookie was Vienna Finhers and at his views with the snack that they provided for us were those exact cookies. Words dont adequately express how great Harper-Talasek Funeral Home is. In your time of need and grief Dominic and his team are exactly the type of people you want taking care of your concerns.

Harper-Talasek handled my mother's death with such care, sensitivity and expert guidance. They made everything go smoothly for my brother and me at a time of grief.

While I wish choosing a funeral home is something I never had to do I am thankful that my family and I choose Harper-Talasek Killeen for my dads services. My dad meant the absolute world to my family and they did an amazing job from beginning to end. They are a highly professional, kind and responsive team and significantly helped ease the stress level for my grieving family during the entire process. They were there for us in all the ways that matters and provided advice and suggestions that as a grieving family we would not have thought of. During one of the hardest times in my life, this funeral home treated me and my family with incredible compassion and care. In one of the most painful moments of my life, this company treated my little dog Ramses >with the respect, love, and dignity he deserved. From the very first contact, I felt empathy, patience, and truly compassionate care. They gave me peace during such a difficult time, and I will always be grateful for the sensitivity and care with which everything was handled. This place is awesome they went out of there way to make us feel comfortable and made this tragic event in my life bearable

Unfortunately I have had to use Paws In Paradise three times over the past 2 years. Most recently two times in two weeks. My 22 year old cat Psycho who passed from old age and my 8 year old Norwegian Elkhound dog, BitBit, who I had to have put down due to cancer exactly two weeks later. With both of my babies, they were kind, caring, and compassionate. They gave me time to say Goodbye a final time before taking them. I feel like they were all in good hands when I left. They never tried to upsell me to a higher priced package and the boxes they came back in are beautiful! They even checked with me twice to make sure that BitBits name would be correct on the plaque. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their fur baby cremated. While I hope it is a long time away, I will be taking all my fur babies here for their final place before I take them home to be with me until it is my turn. Thank you to all the staff for being understanding and caring during this time.
