If youre visiting Tonopah then you should take the time to visit the cemetery. Unique little place which gives insight to the towns history. Strongly recommend visiting at dusk for the amazing sunset colors.

There are some old, original tombstones, but the ones that say how a person died are not original, they were added later. It is quite a unique thing to have in a cemetery, and some of them are amusing. You can park at the clown motel next door. Parking and visiting the cemetery are both free.

Walk quietly, be respectful. Take care not to tread where you shouldnt lest you find yourself cursed.
