Theyre good, they just rarely answer the phone
Terry and the whole staff here were amazing to work with. Very informative through the whole process. I highly recommend this company. As they care for the families they help.
During a tough time, its always helpful to find a resource, and thats what they were. It seemed fine. I wished they would respond to emails and voicemails, as its hard to be the persistent one during grief. Other than that, I felt a $150 flat rate to send ashes via USPS was a clear margin grab&.I get that everyone has to make money but that seemed a bit blatant and excessive to me. However, I had to comply as I dont live in Texas. Other than that, it was fine. Not stellar, not terrible. I personally dislike being interrupted and talked over constantly, and I realize its a communication style, often culturally embedded, I found it irritating and unhelpful, but thats just me.

Great place, great environment, great staff.
Allow me to give the highest praise and recommendation to this incredible group of staff at Mesa Valley Estates. First, let me preface by saying Im gutted and my soul hurts as I just had to say my goodbyes to my father, Tom Mang. He is a recent resident at Mesa Valley Estates. He passed away on Friday 12/19. His decline in health was far too rapid however a silver-lining when it comes end of life. No one should suffer so Im beyond grateful for that. He only resided at MVE for a few months but those months were filled with joy, love, attention, care, adventure, socialization and respect. He was treated as a family member by all. While he was so reluctant to give up his single family home and move to assisted living, he knew as all who knew him knew it was the best for him. Upon moving in he flew in a restored WWII plane, an old restored 1940s truck (which at this moment is on display at their entry), he joined activities and grew countless meaningful friendships. My heart is overflow
The love, respect and kindness that is shown to my dear family member Suzy is priceless. She is so happy there! Suzy absolutely adores the staff; they are the best of the best. She really likes all the food and activities. I cannot possibly thank them enough for the peace of mind they give me, especially administering her medicines, and all they do to make Suzys days so great every day. The money i pay each month for her to live at Mesa Valley is well worth what Suzy and i get in return!!!

In such a tough spot for many families (including mine), I couldnt think of someone who I would want to help me out who is more perfect for the job than Brevin. He was kind, empathetic and patient to my mother in law following the passing of my father. He met with us outside of their normal business hours to accommodate my travel plans. Thank you so much Brevin, and please know that you are in good hands at Star Mortuary!
We are always extremely thankful when we collaborate with mortuaries that are not only easy to work with and get ahold of but compassionate as well. Everyone on the Star Mortuary staff was pleasant to speak with and extremely knowledgeable. They helped in every facet possible in making sure that the loved one made it here safely to Denver. We would happily work with Star Mortuary anytime the opportunity presents itself.
