My mother-in-law passed away last week and since it was her wish to be buried in Dominican Republic, we decided to go with Funeraria Alvarez. They have a lot of experience with sending loved ones to Dominican Republic and the process was very easy and quick. Ernesto and his team always made themselves available when we had questions and on the day of the funeral, they were very helpful. The facilities in Paterson and Passaic are very neat and well kept. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to bury loved ones in Dominican Republic.

I was very hesitant on this place based on the reviews. I cannot express how thankful and impressed I was with their services. Manny was extremely professional, sympathetic and compassionate beyond words. My sister passed away on Thanksgiving Day and a week later (by choice) we did her services here although it couldve been sooner. He was very informative with everything. Communication was excellent. Every step of the way till the very end he kept us up to date. My sister looked naturally beautiful just how she was and we wanted her to be. Everything was handled with so much care and detail. And although this is such a hard time for our family especially during the holiday season we were at ease that we could trust this funeral home with my sister. Manny treated us with such grace and kindness during this difficult time. We are Beyond Thankful !

Abdullah and his son (Yasir) are great people. They were prompt very early in the morning (5am) to start the funeral process for my dad who had passed away at 3:30am. They were very kind and understanding of the extreme rush of the process for my family. Working with an understanding team during the devastating loss of a family is so important. My dad passed from COVID in April 2020. Under the circumstances, Abdullah and his staff was amazing and so compassionate. They are so thorough and answered our questions with lots of patience.
