I was just giving a list from the hospice and I just went with the first one on the list. From the moment they came and picked up my loved one with kindness and respect, and our meeting with them today to make arrangements I have been so impressed. They have made me feel comfortable with my decisions I know that they will take care of my loved one respectfully.

After the death of our loved one, we didn't know what funeral home to choose. I saw this one and decided to give them a call. The ladies who I spoke to were so kind and answered all my questions. We met with Leon and he was great! Very kind and compassionate. He thoroughly explained everything and was happy to answer our questions! Highly recommend!

They took good care of me when I used them for services with my late father. I needed help with a death certificate as well and they worked tirelessly to have Missouri make the corrections and they even delivered them to my house when they were ready. Very nice and kind people to do business with.

KC Funeral Directors was recommended to us by a hospice nurse after a loved one passed. I was very fortunate this group was recommended as they provided incredibly kind and courteous guidance and suggestions. There is no true guide to planning the arrangements after someones passing and Leah was very patient as we worked through the details. She helped us think through any and all possible options, provided recommendations, and made sure we were prepared for working with the cemetery and all other entities involved. After another loved one recently passed, it was an easy decision to come back here. This was incredibly helpful to know we had someone we could count on during this difficult time. Our entire family felt genuinely cared for throughout both processes. We also felt good about our decision to support a family business that has been helping other families for more than 6 generations.

Jordan was incredibly helpful in getting my father's remains transferred to their care. Thankfully so since using assurance cremation saved us $2500 as compared to the other companies around us. Jordan is a very kind man who takes good care of his clients offering each and every family time to grieve and help during difficult times. He makes himself available at the drop of a hat to ensure everyone is taken care of. Although it does seem that Jordan himself takes on to much work at one time. I hope that in the future he is able to hire more help to assist him with the many clients I am sure he has on a daily bases. Regardless of how busy Jordan is and being pulled in so many directions each day I am grateful for his help and kindness. My sons life was violently taken at the age of 27. As you can imagine, this was an incredibly difficult time for our family. When I contacted Serenity Funeral Home, I was connected with Funeral Director Ryan Strickland Sr., and from the beginning, I felt at ease. What I appreciated most about Ryan was his calm confidence. Professionalism, On time arrangements and no Pressure

From my first call, which turns out was outside normal business hours, Donald Lewis was the epitome of professional and compassionate but in a way that felt entirely genuine and heartfelt. My uncle wanted the most minimal services and Donald respected that and never pressured for more. I live out of state and Donald went above and beyond to not only keep me in the loop, check in and also advise me on delivery of my uncle's cremains. None of it felt perfunctory, every interaction was inbued with care and consideration. I cannot compliment Donald Lewis enough.

Everyone at Neptune was extremely caring, professional and made this difficult time so easy and special. They were so helpful and I greatly appreciated all the extra advice and guidance on navigating all the paperwork. Highly recommend their services!

Several years ago I researched cremation as an alternative to the traditional funeral/burial ritual which I knew was not the exit strategy appropriate for me. My father recently passed away. We miss him terribly. He fortunately preplanned his burial and chose Mount Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home & Mount Moriah Cemetery as his final resting place. The rest of the service was not preplanned and we were welcomed into a safe, kind, intelligent, efficient process by Matthias Roening. He and Mount Moriah deserve the highest of recommendations. Matthias intelligently and thoughtfully cared for my grieving family making an emotional, complicated matter manageable and celebratory. We felt heard and supported during the whole process. The officiant he recommended, Gary Simmons, did an excellent job of using our memories and love to express my incredible fathers life. I felt my dad was truly honored in an honest and real way that left us with more peace than I thought could be possible. They could have made sure they had a chair for me at my brother's service after all I was in the chair at the conference table organizing things too. Verry disappointed I felt like the red headed stepchild. No seat at my own brothers graveside service.and everyone wondered why I didn't stand there forever to be a spectacle. Very embarrassing.

My family on both sides of the family are here so I go often and have never seen it looking anything but nice. Sadly it is filling up way to fast.

In Loving Memory of George Kim October 6, 2025 Losing my first dog, George, was one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life. If it werent for Angie and Karen at Trusted Journey, I would have been a complete mess. From the start, they showed me empathy and understanding that I didnt receive elsewhere. Unfortunately, the front desk receptionist at my vets office wasnt properly trained to explain what options were available after my dogs passing. I had no idea I could choose something other than the standard urn I received. It wasnt until Trusted Journey and one of Dr. Hoyts vet techs, who had also recently lost her corgi, explained the process that I learned I could have Georges ashes sealed and transferred into an urn of my choice. I was already deeply traumatized by the sudden loss of my sweet little boy, so I wasnt prepared for the confusion that followed. Thats where Angie and Karen came in. They guided me through every step with such kindness and patience. Angi

For obvious reasons, I'm not really in the state of mind to be leaving reviews on the internet, but in a situation like this, I know it helps people in this position to know who they're dealing with. Meeting Kyle at this location was extremely good for people like me, who lost a family member and a best friend, at the same time. He's a great guy who genuinely cares about what we're going through, and makes this process much more easy and tolerable. He's been through it himself and is extremely empathetic. I did a private cremation, and it went exactly as he explained. Just needed to see the little guy through to the very end, and by human standards, I'm not sure there's a better place to do it. He handled all aspects of the process himself, all the way down to assembling the urn box so I didn't have to do it. If you're in this situation, I highly recommend seeking his assistance.
