Burns-Kish Funeral Home Review - January, 2026 In a time of excessive stress after the death of a loved family member - Emily and everyone else at Burns-Kish were responsive to our needs, they efficiently explained their services, they provided communications with the cemetery and they guided my family through our challenging time. They were kind, considerate and appropriately respectful. Sadly, in todays world - You often do not receive services or goods as marketed. Our Burns-Kish experience was a bright spot in a week of many disappointments The services that my family received were understood, provided beyond expectation and adjusted as needed. Without any doubt, we would highly recommend Burns-Kish when you are in need. The Burns-Kish building and facilities, inside and out, are impeccable. Thank You Emily and everyone at Burns-Kish, for being there for us. The Fairfield family.

We recently had our mothers service at Burns-Kish Funeral Home. The services were done with so much care and kindness. Lorraine was wonderful in helping us get all the details in place. On the day of the funeral, Lorraine and Apollo helped make a difficult day for us, run very smoothly. Our family is very grateful. We also had our fathers funeral here 5 years ago. We had the same experience then as well. Thank you!

Burns-Kish took care of my Grandma recently. She looked so beautiful and they gave our family privacy to grieve and talk with each other. Lorraine was amazing when taking my grandmas clothing and adding things on for me. Everything was done so nicely. Thank you.

Absolutely a pleasant experience at a bad time. Kevin and Sue were so helpful and compassionate in our time of need. The fact that Kish funeral home does not book two funerals at once should tell you alot about them. Thank you very much.

I want to share online with everyone in NWI and beyond what a truly positive and uplifting experience KISH Funeral Home offered me and my family after my Mom's sudden passing last year. I could not have asked for a more professional, dignified and stress-free service over the 2 days of the wake. Kevin and Steve worked extremely hard to provide everything we asked for and more. Their beautiful facility on Calumet Avenue is a first-class operation and everyone on the staff was truly kind and patient with us during a stressful week of preparations. Steve did an amazing job in presenting my Mom with true dignity, grace and exacting beauty. You never ever want to imagine yourself going through something like this, especially in such a sudden manner. However, KISH Funeral Home did an amazing job in such short notice. I would highly recommend them to anyone during their time of need after losing a loved one. My sincere thanks to Kevin and Steve at KISH Funeral home for their incredible
