My uncle died yesterday, and I went with my aunt to this Cremation Service expecting them to try to soak a grieving widow. That was not what happened at all, they were very kind, loving people, with good prices, the whole price was $1958.00 for the cremation, a death certificate, 2 certified letters, and taxes and I for one was shocked at how reasonable the price was. Keith the director was a very kind man, professional but empathetic and he knew what we were going through, It is hard sometimes to really know who to trust when it comes to such a private matter. It was a good experience for us, I found out that you can prepay for your own cremation and even if the price goes up your loved ones will not be expected to pay more for a cremation in the future.

My brother in law passed a week ago. I couldn't have asked for more caring people that came to the house. They were so respectful, kind and gentle with my sister. They treated my brother in law with care and respect. Thank you so very much!

They were kind, quick and helpful. Pricing was great compared to other locations. We were unaware that we had to choose a location for cremation as I thought perhaps the county/city had an option. ECS answered all of our questions and were prompt with their service. Fast forward several months and we had another issue creep up from the cremation they did, which was nothing to do with them. They quickly helped us correct our issue.

I have dealt with a couple of different funeral homes in my life and even in different states. This was by far the most courteous and respectful one. All funeral homes could learn from how they handle things. We specifically worked with the funeral Director Bill, who I cannot say enough good things about. He made things easier for us in so many ways with both big and little details. His compassion was a blessing and eased our burden. Thank you for everything.

My husband passed and the funeral home employees and especially Joe made my entire family feel special. They went beyond every expectation. They were very attentive to every last detail.

I could not imagine having to navigate the process of buring my mom without Billings! They were wonderful

This is the best funeral home hands down in all of Goshen and Elkhart. They are so helpful and thoughtful during the whole process. Sadly we have needed to have several funerals here for our family over the years and each time they go above and beyond to make sure your loved ones given the best send off. It doesnt seem transactional like many other places you can tell they absolutely care. Would recommend them to anyone!

Hartzler's funeral home was very nice especially Lily the one funeral director. She was very sweet and attentive to all my concerns and needs. I would recommend this funeral home to anyone. They are very professional and truly heart warming in my time of loss.

I brought my bird Atlas here after he passed, the owner treated us with respect and I felt very comfortable. The prices are the best around I was able to find and I was able to retrieve the ashes in a short amount of time.
