Most recently our hearts were shattered with the passing of my beautiful 17 year old daughter and they were so kind and caring and understanding of our needs while we were experiencing our greatest loss. They are wonderful and professional.
On behalf of my family, we can't thank Shannon and the staff at Parrott & Wood enough regarding their professionalism, polite, caring in our time of grieving. They went above and beyond and lifted burdens from us that I feel that they did not have to, it was comforting to know that they were there every step of the way! Thank you all so very much!
Parrott & Wood is the only funeral home I would submit my loved ones to before their final resting place. They (Christine and her team) helped guide us in 2016 when our precious father passed, and just this month when our precious mother passed. Truly a compassionate, kind and knowledgeable group, from picking out the casket, the flowers, doing moms hair and makeup to polishing her fingernails, and also defining our mother's life in a short but poignant paragraph, her photograph, and music to play at her service. My brother and I also needed help with who would be giving the ulogy, when asked if they would recommend someone, it took less than 5 minutes, a simple phone call, and another seamless door was opened. We held everything there, from the viewing, the celebration of life ceremony, and luncheon after. We will never be able to express just how much they are appreciated. Thank you for every phone call, every last attention to detail that you helped us navigate through during our

We worked with Kenzie and she did a great job making sure everything was the way our family wanted it for my dad. (Pete Davis). She was caring and understanding about any changes we made. She made this difficult time easier .

There are not enough words to express how easy it was to work the staff at Locke Tower Park. They thought of everything. Rick who came to pick up mom after she passed at Hospice was kind and caring. He was very gentle with mom and patient with our needs and emotions. We did have to work with a couple of different funeral directors, due to illness, which is completely understandable this time of year with all the yuck going around. Zach, Kenzie, Mike and Jonathan were all wonderful to work with. They were kind, caring and patient. We had so many questions and concerns in who was going to be taking care of our mom. Carol was great to work with. She did a wonderful job on the slideshow and making sure mom's programs and thank you cards were perfect. Thank you all for your kindness and help in navigating this difficult time.
Incredible staff. My mother passed away in the middle of the night and I live out of state, and Locke funeral services was incredibly helpful in the midst of a difficult situation. The person who answered the phone in the middle of the night was kind, calm, and helpful. Next, Zack Smith called back quickly and was understanding and reasonable as we discussed a plan. Finally, Kenzie Suhr was truly extraordinary and went above and beyond to help my brother and I navigate difficult circumstances. I highly recommend Locke Funeral Services.
Zach Smith was so helpful with my Dads funeral planning. My sister and I had no idea what we were doing, on top of grieving, and he was absolutely fabulous and caring. Highly recommend and appreciate all they did!

Jordan truly went above and beyond for my grandmothers service. He was helpful, understanding, and kind.
They did a wonderful job making my mother look beautiful after a long illness. Her hair was perfect! Her nails were painted and her make up was great. Many people at the service commented on how wonderful mom looked. Nick, our funeral director was professional and very helpful with making the arrangements. Highly recommend their services.
It's weird to give stars to a funeral home but I have to because they did such a nice job. We celebrated my grandma and it was beautiful. We had crazy kids running around and the people didn't yell at them, instead they were kind and gentle :) thank you for that. I was the mother of one of the crazies and I was having trouble keeping keeping her sane for 3 hours.

Very professional
US Cremation (USC) was reasonably priced & great to work with on signing contract in 2023. Upon death in 2025, had great responsiveness ( I spoke w/people during a weekend!), Everyone I dealt with was very kind and compassionate. They completed "almost" everything per contract, but they failed to provide URN we paid for & sent remains in a box to deceased's son (who was very disturbed since no URN). Big fail, but USC provided refund. We had to buy URN from local funeral home (Macken- they are AWESOME!) for 3X cost originally paid to US Cremation since we had military internment scheduled for specific date/time. We were happy to pay whatever cost because funeral home had URN available immediately & they transferred ashes to URN (outside of son's sight) & it was great work-around. We also thought all paperwork between US Cremation & VA Cemetery would be seamless, but were required to intercede & get specific documents signed & to VA Cemetery before internment.....very stressful & s
They did a good job and the rates were reasonable.
