I can't speak highly enough about this funeral home. I originally chose them based on location and the fact that they had previously arranged my grandfather's funeral and I'd liked the space they provided for viewings. It's small in comparison to its sister location in Stamford, but still a beautiful and well kept space. It's conveniently located next to public transportation (the Greenwich stop on Metro North Railroad), so attendees from out of town can easily get there without a car. I definitely made the right choice with this funeral home. Hanah Kosaka was very kind, helpful, and understanding. She walked me through the whole process from beginning to end. She was easy to talk to and get in contact with. She seemed to understand what I needed from the get go, and helpfully provided "deadlines" for the decisions that needed to be made, so I knew how and when to handle things. I greatly appreciated this from her. Everyone I spoke to or interacted with during this painful process wa

Joe Murray and his team did a phenomenal job with my brother's (Joseph P. Greco III) Memorial Service. From start to finish. Down to every last detail. What was a very difficult day became a beautiful tribute in laying my beloved brother to rest. Thank you Joe!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Castiglione Funeral Home. Planning a funeral is one of the most difficult things you will need to do once a loved one has passed, but Alisa and her team are the best. Alisa makes you feel like a member of the family, and lays all of the information and options out so all is easily understandable. If I had any questions, she was right there to answer them promptly and efficiently. This is now the 3rd funeral which Castiglione's has handled in my family, and the only one to whom we feel secure in handling our loved ones. On behalf of my family and I, I would like to thank you for making this process simplified and very well executed. Thank you for doing what you do, and doing it with love and care. All the best. LO

Extremely professional and available for consult anytime during the process. At such a difficult time, Matthew was most understanding and caring. No sales pitches or incessant phone calls unless the family reached out. Truly a first class establishment.

My mother-in-law passed away in California this week and because of the pandemic and health risks, we were not able to travel to the funeral. While the funeral and shiva will be mostly virtual, we really wanted to light a 7-day memorial candle, but couldn't find one anywhere that would arrive in time. I called Matthew asking if I could purchase one, and he gave us the candle and wouldn't let us pay for it. We were deeply touched by such a kind and caring gesture.
