When my brother passed I had no idea how to handle his after care.I was given after.com as a possible source to help.I contacted them and from that point on they assisted me in every way through this process. I live in another state than where my brother lived and that was no problem whatsoever. This family funeral home made my mother's complex funeral tolerable and less costly than what I believe their competitors may have done. Karen thoughtfully coordinated having my mother's body flown to be buried in California by another mortuary in California. She worked with my sister who lived near their funeral home and myself via phone in Michigan. This was a sad time and Karen's professionalism made this experience far less painful than it could have been. She helped us avoid unnessary expenses that less considerate places have been shown to have caused fiscal pain. I am grateful my sister found this place.

My experience with my loss has been unfathomable...the memory will forever haunt me. Blake funeral home intercepted in the time of need. No words can truly express how grateful our family is for the sacrifices the staff at Aspens Mortuary in Arvada/Lakewood offered the day before Thanksgiving 2025 as we lost our mom. My Husband of 33 years with my 5 years of Breast Cancer Support, very suddenly passed at 63.His family used Neptune Society 10 years ago for his Father for cremation services, they take care of all the paperwork etc. I highly recommend Kaylan Hembree (the Funeral Director) who answered my call not an online purchase. She has taken Such Good Care of Philip & Me & is a very thorough & highly professional individual & so genuinely personable & caring.They have 4 packages to choose from & they are more on the affordable side as they also can do preplan packages for you never know when you will need their services.

Everyone was so caring and was so helpful in all of the details. The compassion they shared truly resonated with me at such a difficult time. They offered different options but never pushed any of them, allowing me to make my own choices. I highly recommend this company!

My husband, James D. Koehn, passed away 1/4/26 and Monika Pike with Horan & McConaty Funeral Services and Cremation was there all the way for me. It was a very difficult journey and Monika stepped in with her warm, kind and caring heart to make the process as pleasant and loving as possible for me. She has fantastic people skills, kind and patient personality to ask difficult questions and respond with suggestions softly. She is definitely an "Angel" to me during this difficult process. Our experience was amazing. Patrick did an amazing job giving us details along the way and making this experience easier. He gave the best customer service possible. We attended an open house that is a monthly activity. Deb and I have both done a lot of research about ways to responsibly dispose of the physical remains left after one dies. We have been in strong agreement that there would not be any chemical preservatives which used to mean cremation but much progress has been made in other methods and when she found The Natural Transition we knew we had made a quantum leap.
