Charles Castigila & his staff provided us with an exceptional memorial for our recent family member. They made themselves available for all our concerns, listened & came through on all wishes. Beautiful facility.

I must thank Castiglia Funeral Home for their comfort, emapthy extremely reasonable cost and everything else regarding their services in our family's time of need. Their facility is absolutely perfect in every way. From Charle's intake meeting that we had all the way through the service and beyond. We received numerous compliments from friends who were at the service regarding how comfortable they were and how beautiful their home is. Their team made an extremely difficult circumstance so much less stressful and put our minds so much more at ease. Again thank you Frank for all your knowledge in answering our questions, your dad Charles for his compassion and assistance in making choices and Alissa for her expertise and for being so extremely patient with the numerous edits and re-edits to the funeral cards and obituary notice. I can't emphasize enough how perfect everything was. Thank you for everything.

Thank you so much for my memorial cards for my fur baby. When every one told me no, charles said absolutely. Quick, friendly and caring staff. I would say I can't wait to return but given the nature of your work i prefer not to.

Sadly a last minute need and Lisa and Anne were so helpful and compassionate. At times like this it is nice to deal with such people. Prices were extremely reasonable. Just good people. Highly recommended !!!

If you lose someone you Love, I would highly recommend Amherst -Buffalo cremation "Anne" and her uncle John. They were amazing. I was stricken by shock and grief and they just loved me and cared for me. They are also knowledgeable in A LOT of the Asian religious customs!

Was efficient and respectful with cremation of parents

I had used lapoflove and seen DGS handled my dog Gozers cremation. Got the remains back quickly and they were very professional. I believe DGS also handled a few of my other pets over the years. Very professional place. Recommend these guys. Thanks!

We lost our kitty unexpectedly and we were in shambles. We didnt know what to do. I reached out to Erik at DGS and he was so incredibly accommodating and empathetic, that it helped put us at ease. When we met with him, he was just so caring and comforting. We have lost some of our pups in the past that we were at our vet for, but never received the care like we did from Erik and his team. Thank you for everything that you do!

The staff here are very respectful of the families. Very professional. Even when they had to come out in the middle of the night, they were very friendly and very sympathetic. Thank you for making the most difficult time, not any harder. Compassionate.

So glad I found Charlie Castaglia and his team as things went much faster in Hospice than we expected for my late husband . From pick up from our home to carrying the cremains to the car for me , everyone we encountered was kind, professional and compassionate in a way that made us feel both that they knew and loved my husband as we did  and that it didnt matter at all that we had a tight budget . They represented to my daughter - here from Virginia- the best of the old school Buffalo family businesses I grew up with many decades ago. I am so glad they will be there for her when my time comes . An exceptionally positive experience in the most difficult of times. My husband passed on a Monday morning and we had everything we needed ready to go by Wednesday . Remarkable .

The staff is very kind and polite. Scheduling services is done by appointment and they walk you through the process and fees associated with the cost of providing the necessary services required for the deceased. A chaplain can be provided for an additional fee and there is a gourmet coffee machine available free of charge.
