From beginning to end the Douglas and Johnson team are compassionate, helpful and listen to your requests in a tough time. Susan, Matt, Carrie and all the behind the scenes personal were always available to answer any questions we had and kept us up to date on how things would go. They heard our wishes for my dad's services and made it happen. We found such peace in that. Dad had it rough at the end but they made him look like himself and it was beautiful. The compassion the team has is amazing and helped us thru the start of our grieving process. Rev. Deb was amazing and truly highlighted who dad was in just the few conversations we had. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your compassion towards us, your help in navigating the process and just letting us ramble as we needed. Peggy Solt (proud wife) Kellie Solt (proud daughter) Rick Solt (proud son) And our family.

At a stressful and sorrowful time you need a caring group of individuals to help guide you and that is what I found here. Great communication and understanding of my loved ones wishes. Al is a gem! He reminded me of good memories I had long forgotten about and it made my heart happy. Thank you again for truly great service. Highly recommend.

The staff at Goundrey Dewhirst turned an extremely stressful time into something that was possible for one person to manage. Their attention, care, and knowledge about the processes involved and necessary in dealing with a loved one's estate and services were able to guide me through dealing with the unexpected death of an estranged parent. During the service they were extremely kind, welcoming, helpful, supportive, and deftly gave space where space was needed and support when support was needed. I'm glad that I chose them for my services, and truly don't know how I would have navigated the situation without a set of staff as helpful as they were. I'd like to call out Rob specifically; he was patient, understanding, and had every answer to every question I had. He really went above and beyond helping me organize and deal with everything.
