There are no words that could truly express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for Pridgen Funeral Home. Ms. Tuawana was incredible! Kind, thoughtful, and supportive throughout the entire process. I had gotten so used to her holding my hand that when the service was over and she was preparing to leave, with all sincerity, I said to her, I dont know how Ill manage the rest of the day without you, but she gently assured me I would be fine. And I was. I had never buried a parent before or been the adult responsible for funeral arrangements. Pridgen Funeral Home lessened the sting by eliminating chaos and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Love them so much. Truly appreciative.
When my mom passed, I was clueless on what to do. I found out about this funeral home through speaking with someone at my mom's church. When I spoke with Mrs. Pridgen she was so warm and comforting. She walked me through everything step by step. She asked for a few pictures of my mom to get an idea of my mom's style and her look. She did an outstanding job. My mother looked as if she was a sleeping angel. She even plucked her eyebrows! I will forever trust in this funeral home for my love ones homecoming needs! I am still getting calls of how beautiful my mother was. She has even taken the time to call me after the service to provide comfort and assist with the paperwork I need to file for my mom's personal business. I highly recommend this family owned funeral home for your homecoming needs for your loved ones. I came in a customer, i walked away feeling like family! d
I cannot say enough positive things about Pridgen funeral home and the care they provided to me and my family during one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Tuawana and her staff were the incredibly compassionate, attentive, and deeply respectful. Tuawana took exceptional care in preparing my mother, thoughtfully incorporating her personal style in a way that truly honored who she was. Seeing her so beautifully prepared brought me comfort and peace, and it was clear that great care and intention went into every detail even down to the polish chosen for her nails. The casket selection was absolutely perfectchosen with such care that it complemented my mothers outfit flawlessly and reflected her elegance (and was also my moms favorite color). And the obituary / program design for the service was beautiful and printed on quality paper stock. Many people noted how nice the programs were. Beyond the technical excellence, what stood out most was the humanity. The director was

My mother passed away on November 12th. I had received a flyer in the mail from Advent and chose them based on their package listing online and proximity to my home. Their service arrived and the attendants were extremely respectful. They greeted our family with condolences upon entry into our home. They explained every step of the process as not to alarm us. Afterwards, I received a call from the Funeral Director, Jeff Price. Jeff expressed his condolences and ensured me he would do everything to make the process a smooth one. We met him at their Lanham location. Jeff was kind and patient as he walked us through the available offerings. I never once felt pressure to sign on for more than needed. Jeff was able to have our insurance payment processed quickly so that we could use those funds to cover their fees. One the day of the service, Jeff and his staff were timely, professionally dressed and assisted greatly with the processional and recessional of the Mass as well as getting her t
