Great small town feel and vibe. The chapel is very cute with an old Hawaii 70s decor. The staff are polite and personable. Quinton is a very friendly person with a welcoming smile-
The people and services at Diamond Head Mortuary are exceptional. Outward appearances of the facilities misrepresent the phenomenal experience we had during a very difficult time. You and your loved one will be well cared for here. While I hope its a very long time until we need these services again, I will come back to DHM when we do.
Yesterday, 11/23/2024was the celebration of my mothers life at Diamond Head Mortuary. The heaviness of our hearts made it difficult to see any light, let alone plan her celebration. Casey Rose and his team made it seamless. We formed new relationships with these compassionate people. I now consider them friends. Mahalo Nui Loa, Casey and team. May you all be blessed beyond measure! The Hardys

Really nice cemetery, church, and mausoleum. All the staff and clergy were exceptional
I would like to say thank you to all the employees, especially Robert and Kendra. I took my mom to Samoa recently. I was worried and stressed. However, Nuuanu Mortuary knew what they were doing. From getting the permit, getting my mom's flight, taking mom out from crypt, preparing her for her new casket and transportation were all through them. All I did is pay for the service and pick up my mom from the airport in Samoa. I appreciate all of you. Thank you and God Bless.
I lost my mom in August 2024 suddenly and unexpectedly. Our family had to scramble to find a funeral home. We made calls to over 10 places in just a few days, and narrowed down our visit to 2. We visited a beautiful and famous cemetery in Kaneohe, but it was too far from our home and the prices were 3x as expensive. When we visited Nuuanu Memorial Park (based on research and a personal recommendation from a trusted friend), we knew immediately that weve found my moms final resting place.. the park was beautiful but modest, close to home, prices were reasonable, and the staff are simply amazing.. Not once during our grief did we feel like we were pressured or taken advantage of; in fact, we felt we were actively taken care of. The price felt reasonable, and they kindly gave us quite a few uncharged perks. They made a minor mistake of using a larger, more expensive urn for my mom, but they didnt charge the difference and Im not complaining. The engraving and niche markers all look b

My mom's service was held at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. The staff were caring and thorough in making the arrangements as we wanted. Ricki and Stephanie are pros at this. I'm so glad the service went so well. Mahalo Hosoi.
Don't be like Justin Sinclair and try to use a funeral home parking lot for your parking while you're out playing tourist.

The Representative that helped me was GREAT. Kim Siufanua did a great job explaining all my options for me and my wife. We were able to get my wife a plan. Mahalo to Kim and Ballard
From the phone call to set up the services to the very end the staff at Ballards was exceptional. They were very accommodating and attentive to all our needs. Down to the finest details. The packages they offed were clear cut and affordable. Didnt realize that funerals costed so much until I had to plan one. thank you Ballards for taking care of my loved one and our family. I must give a HUGE MAHALO to our coordinator Vee.. She was amazing and she was on top of things and she was my rock during the process. Thank you Vee.

I appreciated how patient and thoughtful the staff were. Especially for someone not familiar with handling death arrangements, it's already overwhelming. Borthwick is an excellent place to consider if the unmentionable does happen, they will 100% take care of you!
Marilou and Elena went way beyond the "call of duty/extra mile" in their kindness, compassion and professionalism, again"! The first time was when our daughter died in 2006, and now in 2026, (20-years later) when it would be the love of my life, my wife of 37-years of marriage and almost 40-years together died after a 2+ years battle with a swiftly spreading form of cancer. Marilou and Elena didn't just meet expectations, they far and away exceeded expectations, for which we are so grateful to the Lord as a specific answer to a specific prayer. Thank you!!!
Very good service. Kudos to shelby newby-jasper who was so competent, efficient and accommodating, the kitchen crew at the mortuary, who went above and beyond in helping serve our food, and Dean willard who directed the funeral proceedings with skill and compassion.

Oahu Cemetery was awesome, we had 2 different days for my sister celebrationof life.1st God made a way to have her viewing with in 1 week than we cremated her for her services with in two weeks. It work out perfectly for everyone in our family. Miki Ho Jr and staff made this celebration so beautiful and I personally want to say THANK YOU! God is good!!! From the family for Lisa Louise Evaimalo want to say a big Mahalo Nui and Fafetai lava!
I cannot recommend this company enough. First, there's a genuine caring and kindness from the people who work here that is very sincere. I received more understanding from them than people I've known for decades. Their Aloha spirit actually helped my healing. It seems like a family here, and not a company. Second, they helped me in every way possible when my father passed in 2014 and my best friend in 2024. Lucy and Bryce went the extra mile. They are not pushy with sales, yet they have the best prices on Oahu for cremation. Thirdly, this is a beautiful, peaceful, clean location in lush, green Nuuanu with a little stream running through, but close to downtown. May Akua's aloha heal your heart.
