I cannot say enough good things about these lovely people and their facility. These individuals truly knew their calling and they are the best in the business. From the home pickup (dealing with crying and grieving loved ones) to the service (which was positively beautiful), I cannot say enough good things about them. My husband and I have even said this is where we want to go when our time comes. I hope this business and these professionals know how truly appreciated they are for their kindness and guidance during one of the worst times of our lives. My review is for everyone out there who got to bury someone and they didnt have a tap of insurance and you got to come up with some miracle money in days cause the hospital wouldnt work one last miracle and keep talking about letting them go easy but aint go to come up with the money. This is the place to go and just trust me on this. Cause I am a real individual that just left the most peaceful kind people I have ever met in my life at this cremation service. Miguel is the best.

We had a wonderful experience with Anniston Memorial. Cassie was our funeral Director and she did an amazing job. We had a tight timeline due to out of town family, and Cassie was professional and kind. She kept us on track, worked efficiently and with purpose, to set up all services, including assistance with obituary and funeral direction. After our mother passed away, somewhat unexpectedly, Anniston Memorial was referred to us, and I would defiantly refer them on to friend or relative. They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. We appreciate their thoughtful attention to every detail.

Cassie and the whole group went above and beyond our expectations. Cassie had to drive 5 hours to pick up and bring my dad home. From the first phone call she put me at ease and me placing complete trust in her and everyone there came easily. She was with me through the whole process and made us feel like family. In my family's most heartbreaking moments, they were there for us all. I honestly believe God knew I needed an Angel to see me through and Cassie was in his plan, not just for me, but my family. This place is truly one of a kind and I'll always remember them, they've become part of the family now.

My father recently passed away in Huntsville, Alabama. We used K.L. Brown in Anniston since my father wanted his funeral service to be held at a church in Anniston. My father also wanted to be buried in his home town of Chattanooga Tennessee. (K.L. Brown had previously handled by sister's funeral/burial seamlessly.) K.L. Brown handled by father's transportation from Huntsville to Anniston for funeral and then Chattanooga for burial flawlessly. They provided options to us with no pressure applied to go with any specific options. We experienced issues with a local Chattanooga cemetery that my father's family had previously purchased a lot for him in. My father was a U.S. Army veteran, and K.L. Brown took care of all of the arrangements to have my father buried at Chattanooga National Cemetery (saving us ~$10K). They also coordinated to have a place for my mother (also an Army veteran) to be buried there in the future.. My experience with K.L. Brown for my father's funeral/burial

10 years later I am still grateful by the compassion and care I received from Craig and the staff of KL Brown after the death of my infant son. Their treatment of his remains and the care they took in the ceremony and transport made it possible to navigate the funeral and burial process at a time where I was consumed by grief.

Craig and the entire staff of KL Brown were wonderful to work with during a stressful time. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and caring. They provided exceptional service and made the process as easy as possible under difficult circumstances. Many thanks from the Temple family.

I had to use Gray Brown when my father past away he had a Brown burial policy which we both thought we had nothing to worry about because it was "PAID-OFF" well to our surprise Gray-Brown charges you a few just to take the Brown Policy a $1492.00 fee they called it a "overhead fee" plus on top of that I had to rent the lowering device but it came with a tent and chairs that I got to rent for $350 needless to say it cost just a little under $2,000 it's better than $20,000 but when you have nothing it's a lot & u have a burial policy that is paid off you're thinking you don't have to worry but SURPRISE other then that they was extremely nice caring sweet took their time because I had no idea what I was doing but they walked me through it thank God Also they had an answer for my many many questions immediately after asking them

I lost my husband of 42 years gray brown was very kind very considerate and I didnt have to do anything. Jay took care of everything he was able to help with the insurance all of it and made my hole family feel like we was his family . I want to say thank you all and god bless Gray brown for there hospitality and kindness at our time of grief

I recently pre-planned my final arrangements with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. I did this to take the burden off my family when my Lord and Savior calls me home. They made it so easy to handle this task. I never felt pressured to do something I didnt want and highly recommend anyone planning to finalize their arrangements. Gray Brown handled my father, my mother and most recently my sisters funeral and the funerals were beautiful. They care about you and your loved ones

S. M. Goodson's services far exceed this 5-star review because this company is the epitome of professionalism and perfection in providing mortuary services. Just last week when our sister passed away we didn't hesitate to call Mr. Sheffton M. Goodson because we'd witnessed the great work he had done four years earlier for our brother's funeral. From beginning to end Sheffton made the process extremely easy, and just talking to him was comforting during this time of bereavement. The facilities in both Anniston and Talladega are upscale, immaculate and easy on the eyes; and the staff at both are kind and professional as well, greeting you with smiles and extending condolences. Then, prior to public viewing, when we saw our sister, she looked amazingly royal. Her hair, makeup and nails were professionally done, and her body was positioned perfectly. We could go on and on, but we'll conclude with highly recommending S.M. Goodson Funeral Home to anyone who sadly loses a loved one.

The staff went out their way to make sure everything was done the way I wanted it. I went to the funeral everyday and was always treated with respect and kindness, don't matter how many times I called someone was their to answer the questions, and within a week of time the staff done everything I asked of them. And my mom looked so good and peaceful. Thanks again.

My dad died on June 21 2023. I didn't know anything about planning a funeral. Choosing his casket was one of the most difficult things I've ever had to do. Mr Goodson and his staff were fantastic!
