Oakwood Cemetery

I went to one of their tour today where they cremate the bodies simply gorgeous ton of information realize how much history is behind every part of the whole Oakwood Cemetery I've learned so much and seen so many beautiful pieces of Art the Tiffany windows in Armstrong crafts of art are just outstanding I took beautiful pictures thank you Cathy Baker I would have never known it if you never invited me thank you for all the history I've learned today I enjoyed just driving through and just beautiful I give it 10 Stars

A beautiful cemetery that is very well kept. Full of lovely old trees and gravestones. A great place to walk and enjoy the quiet.

Weve driven by the chapel a million times but we really knew nothing about it until we stopped in to buy tie dye T-shirts to support their 175th anniversary celebration. What we thought would be a mundane transaction turned into a delightful exploration of the grounds and chapel with David, a very kind gentleman from their office. The T-shirts are awesome, as well as the gargoyle key chains, but the brief tour from David was the highlight of our summer! Oakwood has a fascinating history, breathtaking Louis C. Tiffany stained glass windows and fabulous views from throughout the property. Were looking forward to attending some of their events to explore Oakwood Cemetery even further. What a treasure!!!
