Truckee Meadows Cremation & Burial

They all were very nice. Me and my brother were able to take our time with our choices.....Mom wanted to be cremated and we couldn't really find an Urn we liked so we ordered one online and brought it in when we went to pick her up and the lady was so sweet and transferred Mom's ashes from the cardboard box to our Urn and also made up small individual bags for us to put in the matching mini Urns we ordered so the rest of the family could have her too. I would most definitely recommend them. Hospice was the place that recommended them to us because they would've mailed Mom's ashes to us but we opted to just drive to Reno and pick her up ourselves. It's a very nice place. We were also able to pay for all expenses the same day Mom passed away. They were quick to pick her up after Hospice made their call. The group home held Mom longer than they should've just so we could come see her and say our good byes before they transported her.

Cant say enough great things about the staff here. They responded within an hour after being called by Hospice. We called a day later and scheduled an appointment the next day. Harrison was very compassionate and a great help in preparing my mother in laws final wishes. From the casket, to the beautiful flowers and transporting to the cemetery. I highly recommend this family owned business.

losing someone that means the world to you is not easy, but having a funeral home that does everything they can to help with the lose is everything. I had the pleasure of working with Harrison with my fathers passing and especially sending him to Mexico made the transition easier. Harrison and his team always kept us updated and never seemed bothered when we called with a million questions. I will forever be grateful with this funeral home! We trusted them with our world and they came through!
