My husband, William Pete James, was funeralized on Monday December 8th. I would like to express a very, very heartfelt Thank You and extreme appreciation to Mrs. Carole Stevens and the staff at Stevens Funeral Home for their compassion, professionalism, and patience with me in planning and executing the funeral and burial of my husband. Three things in particular Id like to mention. First, it ended up snowing in NC and Virginia on the day of the funeral causing one of my soloists coming from VA to cancel out the morning of the funeral. Everybody cant necessarily sing the two songs I had asked him to sing. I was tremendously stressed. In sharing this with Mrs. Stevens, she was very comforting in asking me to please stay calm. She said she was going to check on some things, and shed get back with me shortly. She called back about 30 minutes later saying shed found a soloist and musician who could do both songs that same day at the funeral. They did a fantastic job despit

Stevens Funeral Home was responsible for my brother's going home service and they did a spectacular job. The funeral home was very professional and organized. The staff was kind and the facility was clean. The choir they had was absolutely phenomenal and we couldn't have picked better singers ( and musicians ) for the service.
