I have been absolutely astounded at the kindness and professionalism of City of Oaks. They have made the hardest time of my life - losing my father - so much easier with regard to everything that comes after. My father passed in home hospice, and the gentlemen who came to retrieve his body in the wee hours of the morning were dressed in suits and consummate professionals. They offered sincere condolences and were caring and efficient while still allowing me and my family all the time we needed to let go. They handled his body with respect and care and I am eternally grateful for the peace they brought to this part of the process. Our situation was unique because my father chose to donate his body to medical education and research at Duke. City of Oaks coordinated everything for me and the entire process was smooth and efficient.
