A.W Rich Funeral Home exceeded our expectations when they came into our home. Not only with sincere sympathy but with class. They handled our love one with care while keeping her dignity in mind. We were asked if we wanted to aid in the preperation for her last ride. Before facing the outside world we were asked if we wanted to place a home made quilt across her as a finishing touch of privacy. As she was placed in the van they were playing their wedding song. ( You're my best friend by Tim McGraw) We stood there sobbing as they drove slowly down the street with their song playing loud enough to honor the grieving husband. It was a horrible evening with a beautiful, heartfelt, farwell tribute to our Brenda.. "I love you my angel" you will always be my best friend. Thank you A.W.Rich Funeral Home for making a bad situation so memorable! We will recommend you to everyone. Thank you for caring so much. My beloved wife passed away earlier this month. It was very late at night, and even though it was a 2 hour ride for the staff members of AW Rich/Direct Cremation Services, they arrived in a prompt manner. They were very kind, informative, and very respectful. They handled a very emotionally painful situation with so much care and compassion. I was truly impressed with their compassionate and respectful manner. In addition all of the other staff members that I spoke to during and after the cremation process were also very compassionate and respectful as well.
