James and Cynthia and their team did an exceptional job carrying out my father, Allen Durham's final wishes. They walked my family through each step, were empathetic and caring.I highly recommend them.
I want to take this opportunity to Thank James and Cynthia for the AMAZING JOB!!! My family truly appreciates the one i'm welcoming service your team provided!
The staff at Simon's Mortuary was amazing giving that they were very busy the last few weeks. This type of job is demanding and trying to please every family, takes a very special kind of gift to have. They did an amazing job with my mother Jeanette Young. What I loved most, was the privacy we recieved during our service. They were sensitive towards our needs. They set my mothers table up beautifully; just the way I wanted and more. I was oblivious to details( as this was my first time ever doing a funeral for a loved one) but, the wife( sorry I'm terrible with names) and Marcus took me under their wing and helped me through the process. I'm sorry some of you had bad experiences, but please remember they are doing the best they can to service our community. For example, their speaker did not work during moms service. Guess what? We came prepared with our own speaker to play my mothers songs. I ask my cousin to bring his JUST IN CASE. I'm not bashing them because of one or two mishaps

Where is Simons Mortuary located?
Simons Mortuary is at 912 W John H Gwynn Jr Ave, Peoria, IL 61605, and we list them under Peoria, Illinois. How do I get an itemized quote from Simons Mortuary?
Call Simons Mortuary at +1 309-674-2638 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
Is this listing verified by Simons Mortuary?
No. This listing was compiled from public sources and has not been claimed by Simons Mortuary, so we cannot confirm the details with the business. Treat the prices and contact details on this page as a starting point and confirm them directly.
Can I get quotes from other Peoria providers too?
Yes. We list 11 cremation providers in Peoria, and the free quote form on this page goes to local providers, not only Simons Mortuary. Comparing at least three itemized quotes for the same service is the simplest way to tell whether a price is fair.
