Fred C Dames Funeral Home and Crematory

We worked with Fred C. Dames Funeral Home twicefirst in 2021 when my father-in-law passed away during COVID, and again last month when my mother-in-law passed. Both experiences were truly exceptional, and we are deeply grateful for the care, professionalism, and compassion they showed our family. The staff paid close attention to every detail and confirmed everything with us multiple times to ensure our wishes were fully respected. They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests. The floral arrangements were absolutely beautifulexactly like the photos in their catalog, if not even more stunning in person. We also used their large screen to display photos and memories from my mother-in-laws life. This allowed everyone who attended to better understand and celebrate her story, and it meant a lot to us. I want to start this review by saying it feels weird to leave a review about a funeral home. But throughout the entire process I remember thinking, these people have found their calling. I needed to make arrangements for my brother & I was devastated with grief. He died very unexpectedly & I was really really struggling. Even from the moment I called just to ask questions, Marlena was so unbelievably kind & compassionate. Every single step of the way she held my hand in making decisions & when I couldnt think clearly she gave amazing suggestions. While Marlena was my primary contact, every single person I dealt with was wonderful. I couldnt have chose a better place for my brothers service. I truly thank them. Rachael-

This place is the best! We have used them for 2 family members, however, most recently my son. Marlena took care of everything!! She's wonderful!! I never leave reviews but I wanted to specifically thank her!!
