As a father, Ive always tried to teach my sons how to handle things that many parents think theyre too young to deal with. Life doesnt wait until you feel ready. Hard moments come whether youre prepared or not. My job is to help them be ready. Yesterday was one of those moments. We walked into Paws Memorial Services after Rivers bearded dragon, Spyro, passed away. I introduced us and told the young man, My son has business with you. Then I turned to River and said, You got this. And he did. He handled everything. He listened carefully to the caring and compassionate staff, asked intelligent and relevant questions, stayed on topic, and conducted himself like a young man. I just stood back and watched. I was so proud of him. The intake staff looked a little surprised I dont think they see many kids walk in and take care of matters like that themselves. But River did. He was mature about the loss of his pet and showed him the respect that all living creatures deserve
If you want peace of mind knowing your fur baby is in great hands, Paws Memorial is the place you need to go to. They went above and beyond making sure my baby and I were both taken care of. Everything was done with the utmost respect and sympathy. Thank you everyone for making this a peaceful experience!!
We cant say enough great things about Paws Memorial Services! They picked up our sweet Tess from our Veterinarian, they were so kind to call us to tell us they picked up our baby and confirmed all information. We received Tess ashes back within a couple of days with such compassion and dignity. Very professional!
