Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home
Pricing & details updated October 2026
Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home is one of 2 cremation providers we list in Barre, VT.
This funeral home is top notch and I would recommend them to any of my family and friends. From the moment Cort picked up my mom at our home, to filling out paperwork and picking my mom back up Cort and this funeral home in general handled everything with the upmost care. Even went as far to let us write letters and include pictures and momentos that we wanted with our mom forever. They even went as far as checking in on my family and I on the one month anniversary of our moms death. 10/10 recommend if you want your loved one cared for with dignity to the very end this is the place for you. Cort even played my moms favorite song as he dropped her off at the cremation place and waited in the parking lot until the song was finished. A beautiful testament to our mom.
People in this place especially Duffy and Elizabeth have been so gracious and kind for us to go through difficult times of grieving process and we appreciate their service and support.
Our wonderful Dad passed away in the Spring of this year. (2025) We chose Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home to handle the details of his final journey. I can't say enough about how this establishment took care of us. The professionalism was outstanding. However, beyond that was the empathy and a personal touch. A special thanks to Duffy and Cort for providing a final courtesy for Dad that nobody else would ever have considered. Thank you for making a difficult time bearable. I would highly recommend Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home without reservation. Robert Deep.

Frequently Asked Questions About Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home
How much does direct cremation cost at Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home?
Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home has not published a direct cremation price with us, so this page does not list one. Call +1 802-476-4621 and ask for the total price in writing before you agree to anything.
How is Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home rated?
Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home is rated 5.0 out of 5 from 19 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home located?
Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home is at 58 Summer St, Barre, VT 05641, and we list them under Barre, Vermont. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home?
Call Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home at +1 802-476-4621 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
Is this listing verified by Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home?
No. This listing was compiled from public sources and has not been claimed by Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, so we cannot confirm the details with the business. Treat the prices and contact details on this page as a starting point and confirm them directly.
Can I get quotes from other Barre providers too?
Yes. We list 2 cremation providers in Barre, and the free quote form on this page goes to local providers, not only Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home. Comparing at least three itemized quotes for the same service is the simplest way to tell whether a price is fair.
Prices, ratings and contact details on this page come from the listing we hold for Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home and are refreshed periodically — confirm anything you are relying on directly with the provider.
