Murphy Funeral Homes

I cannot say enough good things about Murphy Funeral Home. We came from Florida with my father-in-laws ashes for burial at Arlington National Cemetery in November 2025. The funeral home we used for cremation in Florida had transferred his ashes to a plastic box for airport security screening. We had brought a square marble urn for the ashes to be used in the niche at Arlington and had called Murphy to see if they would do a re-transfer for us. We were so impressed at the kindness and dignity with which they treated us. They not only transferred the ashes for us, but they placed the urn in a beautiful special grey felt carrier along with a note on our loss and an ornament of remembrance. They did not charge us anything, although we asked to pay. This is a funeral home that cares about helping people at a time of great sorrow. On behalf of our family, I thank you so much.

Saudia could not have been more helpful to our family. She made a stressful situation so much better. My brother's viewing was tastefully done. His memory table was thoughtfully put together. I could not have made it look so nice. Everyone I dealt with at Murphy Funeral Home was kind and compassionate.

Explained everything and was most helpful. Took us through the whole process and made it easy to understand what we needed. Made us feel like we are prepared for the future.
