Our experience with Nelson Family Mortuary was exemplary. Before my father passed away he insisted I contact Nelson Mortuary. He was so impressed when they cared for my mother at her passing. We too were very pleased from the first contact to a follow up call weeks after the funeral. They handled every detail with compassion and perfection. They even arranged streaming of the service and gravesite to allow family and friends that could not travel to participate. We couldnt have expected anything better than the service they provided! Thank you Nelson Family Mortuary!!!
Eric Moyes is wonderful. I wouldnt trust anyone else.
Weve used Nelson Family Mortuary for two family funerals now. They are the most professional, hardworking and kind individuals Ive ever had the privilege to work with. Not only was everything beautiful but they met our specifications perfectly. Additionally, they thoughtfully reached out to family members to see how we were doing and if they could do anything to help us in the grieving transition. I highly recommend this group.

Frequently Asked Questions About Nelson Family Mortuary
How much does direct cremation cost at Nelson Family Mortuary?
Nelson Family Mortuary has not published a direct cremation price with us, so this page does not list one. Call +1 801-405-7444 and ask for the total price in writing before you agree to anything.
How is Nelson Family Mortuary rated?
Nelson Family Mortuary is rated 5.0 out of 5 from 44 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Nelson Family Mortuary located?
Nelson Family Mortuary is at 345 W 600 S #105, Heber City, UT 84032, and we list them under Heber City, Utah. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Nelson Family Mortuary whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Nelson Family Mortuary?
Call Nelson Family Mortuary at +1 801-405-7444 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
Is this listing verified by Nelson Family Mortuary?
No. This listing was compiled from public sources and has not been claimed by Nelson Family Mortuary, so we cannot confirm the details with the business. Treat the prices and contact details on this page as a starting point and confirm them directly.
Can I get quotes from other Heber City providers too?
Yes. We list 2 cremation providers in Heber City, and the free quote form on this page goes to local providers, not only Nelson Family Mortuary. Comparing at least three itemized quotes for the same service is the simplest way to tell whether a price is fair.
Prices, ratings and contact details on this page come from the listing we hold for Nelson Family Mortuary and are refreshed periodically — confirm anything you are relying on directly with the provider.
