If I could I would give Cannon Mortuary a rating of 7 plus I chose them because I had attended other funerals they had handled. They are first class all the way. I never felt pressured in any way. They were kind and caring during the entire process. My wife had been ill for a long period of time. They restored her beauty. The hair stylist nailed the hair perfectly. My wife would have been very pleased
Everything was absolutely Perfect, my dad looked wonderful, and we were made to feel at home at the Cannon Mortuary. Cannon Mortuary had Everything down for the service, and were here to help with anything you need. Everything was done with respect and care, down to the last detail.
This was my first experience planning a funeral, and I cant say enough about the kindness and professionalism of Jackie and Don Cannon. From start to finish, they made a very difficult time so much easier to navigate. Jackie was incredibly responsive she answered all of my calls and questions quickly and with genuine compassion. Both Jackie and Don truly care about the families they serve, and it shows in everything they do. Their guidance, patience, and attention to detail meant so much to me and my family. I am deeply grateful for their support and highly recommend Cannon Mortuary services to anyone in need of caring, professional mortuary arrangements.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cannon Mortuary
How much does direct cremation cost at Cannon Mortuary?
Cannon Mortuary lists direct cremation from $1,295 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. That is a listed starting price, not a quote. Ask for a written, itemized price list before paying — any funeral provider must give you one on request under the FTC Funeral Rule.
What cremation packages does Cannon Mortuary list prices for?
Cannon Mortuary publishes starting prices for direct cremation from $1,295, cremation with a memorial service from $4,875 and a full-service funeral with cremation from $7,225. What each package includes varies between providers, so ask for an itemized list of exactly what is and is not covered before comparing those figures with anyone else’s.
How is Cannon Mortuary rated?
Cannon Mortuary is rated 4.6 out of 5 from 28 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Cannon Mortuary located?
Cannon Mortuary is at 2460 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121, and we list them under Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Cannon Mortuary whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Cannon Mortuary?
Call Cannon Mortuary at +1 801-942-6301 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
Is this listing verified by Cannon Mortuary?
No. This listing was compiled from public sources and has not been claimed by Cannon Mortuary, so we cannot confirm the details with the business. Treat the prices and contact details on this page as a starting point and confirm them directly.
Can I get quotes from other Cottonwood Heights providers too?
Yes. We list 4 cremation providers in Cottonwood Heights, and the free quote form on this page goes to local providers, not only Cannon Mortuary. Comparing at least three itemized quotes for the same service is the simplest way to tell whether a price is fair.
Prices, ratings and contact details on this page come from the listing we hold for Cannon Mortuary and are refreshed periodically — confirm anything you are relying on directly with the provider.
