A very pleasant experience during one of lifes most difficult events. Hank Williams followed through on every arrangement as promised and was extremely competent, helpful, and a true pleasure to work with. My father attended and supported his church for more than 60 years. When the church minister notified us with only three hours notice that he could not perform my fathers service  and provided no alternate  Mike Blevins quickly informed me of the situation and immediately suggested Wayland Stewart as a last-minute replacement. Despite never having met my father, Wayland delivered a beautiful and meaningful service that exceeded anything we could have expected. I am deeply grateful to Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel and their entire staff for making a very difficult time far less stressful. Their care, professionalism, and compassion truly made a difference.

Thank you so much for the handling of the service for my daughter, Vicki Lynn Porterfield. Everything was beautiful and handled very professionally. Everyone was kind and compassionate to us during this sad time in our lives.

This has been the funeral home of choice for my husband's side of the family so I have been here multiple times over the years but never had to do the planning side until recently. I lost my husband in a motorcycle accident and had funeral services in NY (where we lived) but also needed to have services in TN where he grew up. Trying to plan services when you've lost your life partner is hard enough, planning out of state is an additional complication but EVERYTHING was handled perfectly and I really had very little to do after a few initial decisions. Hank, Larry, Mike & Vickie and probably others I'm not aware of were wonderful and made such a difficult time so much easier. We arrived in town to every detail taken care of and everything ready to go. Truly appreciate the compassionate and professional care that was provided.
