When my mother passed away, there was no question who we would trust  Patrick Lanigan. Pat handled my grandmothers arrangements back in 1979 when I was six years old, and now, all these years later, he cared for my mother with that same compassion, dignity, and personal touch that has defined the Lanigan name for generations. Pats kindness showed in so many thoughtful ways. My children even noticed that he never just referred to them as the grandchildren  he always called them by name, which meant so much to them. He was also incredibly compassionate toward my father, who lost his wife of 63 years. My dad is absolutely heartbroken, and Pat treated him with such gentleness, patience, and respect. Pat is deeply rooted in the community where my mother was born, and he made sure the processional passed down the street of her childhood home  a gesture that touched us all deeply.
