Mr. Reidy walked me very gently and respectfully through the process of creating a beautiful funeral for my mother. His kindness helped me tremendously. He was 100% available to me when I called and needed to come to his office. He treated me as if I was his own family. Everything was perfect. Her make-up and presentation of her in her casket was breathtaking. The amount of time provided for her eulogy and service was not rushed. The amount of time to allow our family to gather didnt go unnoticed! Everything was EXACTLY as asked. I could never be more grateful. Richard and Larissa handled my moms funeral and did a fabulous job. Not only did they coordinate the calling hours at their funeral home in Lorain, but handled all the arrangements for the funeral in Rocky River, and even the burial at the cemetery in New York where they transported her. I will say that again! They transported my mom in their own vehicle to New York so she could be buried next to her parents! My mom looked beautiful after suffering for many years, and I could sense the compassion and kindness of Richard and Larissa simply by seeing my mom laying there peacefully. They went above and beyond my expectations. It saddens me to read negative reviews because I know how much they care about the families that come to their funeral home at a time when people are most vulnerable. Emotions run high, but the they do a great job shouldering some of that burden. I would highly recommend using the Richard J Reidy Funeral home.
