When my father became ill, we first tried working with another funeral home in Lorain since they had helped with my mothers arrangements back in 1999. Unfortunately, it was a nightmare. They seemed unwilling to communicate or guide us unless there was a body present, and they made everything feel complicated and impersonal. I felt completely lost and overwhelmed. My sister then met with Gluvna and couldnt say enough good things about themso we decided to make the change. Im so thankful we did. Jeff and Jerry were incredible. They genuinely cared about our family and the loss of my father. Every detail was handled with compassion, professionalism, and respect. Everything truly happens for a reason. Im grateful that the first place didnt work out, because I cant imagine any other funeral home in Lorain taking care of us the way Gluvna did.
