New Comer Cremations & Funerals
Pricing & details updated October 2026
We (unfortunately) have had to use services here two times in the past few years. Becky and her entire team are exceptional. Courteous, sensitive, honest, and helpful. We couldnt have asked for better experiences during such fragile and sad moments in our life. I highly recommend.
The staff at New Comer were wonderful. A differnt situation came up during the cremation process and their team made it work for me to move forward with my father's cremation . I would highly recommend them, their compassion and empathy showed. So grateful to have used this funeral facility through the most difficult time of my life . Thank you all at the Watervliet location.
We were treated with respect and dignity from the pre-planning through the burial. Arthur, Caroline and the rest of the staff were empathetic and efficient.

New Comer Cremations & Funerals lists direct cremation from $1,645 in Watervliet, New York. That is a listed starting price, not a quote. Ask for a written, itemized price list before paying — any funeral provider must give you one on request under the FTC Funeral Rule.
What cremation packages does New Comer Cremations & Funerals list prices for?
New Comer Cremations & Funerals publishes starting prices for direct cremation from $1,645, cremation with a memorial service from $4,020 and a full-service funeral with cremation from $6,265. How is New Comer Cremations & Funerals rated?
New Comer Cremations & Funerals is rated 4.1 out of 5 from 43 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.

New Comer Cremations & Funerals is at 181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189, and we list them under Watervliet, New York. How do I get an itemized quote from New Comer Cremations & Funerals?
Call New Comer Cremations & Funerals at +1 518-272-2824 and ask for their General Price List. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
