Polhemus Cremation Services
Pricing & details updated October 2026
Professional, knowledgeable, compassionate. Richard was very upfront and prompt with everything we needed. My mother in law's ashes are being taken back to Poland and Richard knew the best way for us to take the ashes and paperwork needed for getting through customs. It's always great to work with someone with experience in how to deal with specific circumstances during a difficult time and Richard was very helpful in that aspect. I highly recommend his services.
Called to asked about consolidation of two urns into one He did it for me at no charge. What a wonderful man and beautiful location.Highly recommend.
Richard and his staff are absolutely stellar. They provided exceptional service to my family when we tragically lost my mom in a car accident. They are kind, professional and fairly priced. Their facilities are comfortable and perfect for your families needs. They respond to your questions and needs as a family for funeral arrangements with incredible speed. My family highly, highly recommends Polhemus for your families needs. We found them through a monster formed that highly recommended them.

Frequently Asked Questions About Polhemus Cremation Services
How much does direct cremation cost at Polhemus Cremation Services?
Polhemus Cremation Services lists direct cremation from $1,595 in West Creek, New Jersey. That is a listed starting price, not a quote. Ask for a written, itemized price list before paying — any funeral provider must give you one on request under the FTC Funeral Rule.
What cremation packages does Polhemus Cremation Services list prices for?
Polhemus Cremation Services publishes starting prices for direct cremation from $1,595, cremation with a memorial service from $4,780 and a full-service funeral with cremation from $7,090. What each package includes varies between providers, so ask for an itemized list of exactly what is and is not covered before comparing those figures with anyone else’s.
How is Polhemus Cremation Services rated?
Polhemus Cremation Services is rated 5.0 out of 5 from 20 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Polhemus Cremation Services located?
Polhemus Cremation Services is at 203 Main St, West Creek, NJ 08092, and we list them under West Creek, New Jersey. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Polhemus Cremation Services whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Polhemus Cremation Services?
Call Polhemus Cremation Services at +1 609-294-8000 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
