For my siblings and I, the mere idea of having to plan my father Noels wake and services after his sudden passing, especially after losing our mom under 3 years prior, was emotionally and financially depleting. I am beyond grateful I went with my intuition with choosing Hegarty & Scalia. Jeremiah, his wife Tara and team were comforting and a blessing to work with. The whole process felt seamless and they were always able to be contacted for any of our concerns. Tara went above and beyond to help in any way she could, especially insuring my father received his Marine veteran honors at the burial site. As for the wake, the room was beautifully renovated, homey, warm and able to be personalized. The price was extremely reasonable for cremation/viewing. Planning a funeral is not an easy task, especially when its a parent you are doing it for. However, Scalia funeral home made this process as smooth and as easy as possible.
