I am so very thankful to Morgan who prepared my brothers viewing today. Jasons makeup and dress were impeccably done and rang true to his personal sense of style. Morgan offered my sister and I wonderfully caring support and assistance throughout the viewing and lovingly answered questions that my sister had. At my sisters request, Morgan held the phone so that I could view my sister and brother together via FaceTime as I am unfortunately stuck in Australia. Thank you so very much Morgan for your kind support in making this difficult day easier for my sister and I. I highly recommend Asheville Mortuary Services.

Frequently Asked Questions About Asheville Mortuary Services
How much does direct cremation cost at Asheville Mortuary Services?
Asheville Mortuary Services lists direct cremation from $895 in Swannanoa, North Carolina. That is a listed starting price, not a quote. Ask for a written, itemized price list before paying — any funeral provider must give you one on request under the FTC Funeral Rule.
How is Asheville Mortuary Services rated?
Asheville Mortuary Services is rated 4.4 out of 5 from 29 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Asheville Mortuary Services located?
Asheville Mortuary Services is at 125 South Ave, Swannanoa, NC 28778, and we list them under Swannanoa, North Carolina. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Asheville Mortuary Services whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Asheville Mortuary Services?
Call Asheville Mortuary Services at +1 828-254-0566 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
