My experience at the Mackinnon funeral home on Washington Street in Whitman with my friend Gail went so smooth. Gail recently lost the love of her life, her husband Jim. We spent 2 hours there speaking with Garrett, who we both found to very easy to talk. She first spoke with Chris on the phone the previous day. He was very helpful from the start. I would highly recommend this funeral home when going through the most difficult time in life [when we lose our loved ones.] We felt totally at peace leaving and knowing that everything would be taken care of in a very respectful professional way.

I would highly recommend MacKinnon Funeral Home. I have used them several times in the past but mostly recently when my husband passed. They were so kind, compassionate and understanding of all our wants and needs. I dealt with Chris the whole time and he was very attentive and answered any questions we had and made sure we were pleased, given the situation. Not only did they take care of the wake, church and cemetery, they were kind enough to bring g any flowers and photos to the restaurant to follow, which gave me one less thing to worry about. They are first class all the way.
