Our family reached out to Eaton after an unexpected death. If you are searching for a family owned funeral home to guide you through an awful circumstance- this is it. From the very beginning the director/owner, Skip, was knowledgeable, understanding and kind. He provided guidance when his experience knew we needed it, and was extremely flexible on the familys needs as well. We didnt realize at the start of the process many funeral homes work closely with particular churches. Eaton has close relationships with several religious organizations in the community, and was the most flexible on helping find the right place for a service while respecting secular/agnostic view points. Throughout our services Eaton was very well staffed, helpful and kind. We cant recommend them more highly.

Frequently Asked Questions About Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home
How much does direct cremation cost at Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home?
Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home has not published a direct cremation price with us, so this page does not list one. Call +1 617-244-2034 and ask for the total price in writing before you agree to anything.
How is Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home rated?
Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home is rated 5.0 out of 5 from 2 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home located?
Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home is at 465 Centre St, Newton, MA 02458, and we list them under Newton, Massachusetts. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home?
Call Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home at +1 617-244-2034 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
Is this listing verified by Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home?
No. This listing was compiled from public sources and has not been claimed by Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home, so we cannot confirm the details with the business. Treat the prices and contact details on this page as a starting point and confirm them directly.
Can I get quotes from other Newton providers too?
Yes. We list 3 cremation providers in Newton, and the free quote form on this page goes to local providers, not only Eaton & Mac Kay Funeral Home. Comparing at least three itemized quotes for the same service is the simplest way to tell whether a price is fair.
