Smits funeral Home was amazing. They took care of every detail that needed to be done. Contacted the Pastor, provided special music, was very knowledgeable when making arrangements. Even let us add more pictures at the last minute. The Funeral Home was very clean, well maintained, and very nicely decorated. My family has used them ever since I can remember, and theyve always done an excellent job.

I recently faced the heartbreaking loss of my grandpa. He passed at home late at night and we were unable to get a hold of the funeral home with which we had a pre-paid plan. I contacted Smits Funeral Home after being turned down by other local funeral homes. Tim Smits agreed to come and pick up my grandpas body and hold it until our other funeral home could come to pick it up. Tim Smits demonstrated such compassion and kindness by agreeing to help our family during our time of need. He knew that we had already paid for the services of another funeral home but still agreed to come and collect the body in the middle of the night. I highly recommend Smits Funeral Home to anyone in need of their services. They truly understand the gravity of such a situation and provide support with grace and empathy.

Smits funeral home in Dyer was wonderful to deal with during such a difficult time. Tim was amazing from initial meeting throughout the entire process.
