I was directly involved in two separate causes of action in which Maher Legal Services PC represented two Army Soldiers unjustly subjected to potential adverse actions. One instance involved an active-duty junior enlisted Soldier subject to retaliation for reporting wrongdoing occurring at an Army health clinic in Germany only weeks removed from completing his advanced individual training (the clinic's chain of command spent weeks fabricating a false mental deficiency based separation cause); the other instance involved an Army Reserve Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) with 25 years of service who endured USERRA related violations by a civilian employer (the police department of a small college and a supervisor who resented the Senior NCO's Army Reserve obligations).
