Lack & Sons Funeral Home
Pricing & details updated October 2026
We recently lost our mom (November 2025) and didnt know where to turn to accommodate her final wishes and arrangements. Lack & Sons Funeral Home in Hickory Hills was recommended by the church our mom attended. We were apprehensive and felt unqualified about this last, big step. From the first minute and in every interaction thereafter, Jen and Matt met us where we were, gently guiding us and supporting our every last request. I would recommend Lack & Sons Funeral Home based on our experience.
We had my brother, Mike's wake here in 2024. The owners were very helpful, respectful and attentive to our time and needs. The facility has plenty of parking, is clean and has a full dining area. They have a very relaxing section where you can observe live finches interacting and there is a small children's area as well. My brother knew so much about old cars. He also knew so many details about music. He was an icon who went to Heaven too soon. I miss you, Mike!!!!
The staff at Lack and Sons Funeral Parlor made what was one of the hardest experiences in my wifes and my lifetime as comfortable and worry free as could be.Every request and response was answered in a very polite professional manner.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lack & Sons Funeral Home
How much does direct cremation cost at Lack & Sons Funeral Home?
Lack & Sons Funeral Home lists direct cremation from $1,910 in Hickory Hills, Illinois. That is a listed starting price, not a quote. Ask for a written, itemized price list before paying — any funeral provider must give you one on request under the FTC Funeral Rule.
What cremation packages does Lack & Sons Funeral Home list prices for?
Lack & Sons Funeral Home publishes starting prices for direct cremation from $1,910, cremation with a memorial service from $6,265 and a full-service funeral with cremation from $9,030. What each package includes varies between providers, so ask for an itemized list of exactly what is and is not covered before comparing those figures with anyone else’s.
How is Lack & Sons Funeral Home rated?
Lack & Sons Funeral Home is rated 4.6 out of 5 from 21 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Lack & Sons Funeral Home located?
Lack & Sons Funeral Home is at 9236 S Roberts Rd, Hickory Hills, IL 60457, and we list them under Hickory Hills, Illinois. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Lack & Sons Funeral Home whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Lack & Sons Funeral Home?
Call Lack & Sons Funeral Home at +1 708-430-5700 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
