They wonderful helping plan my father's funeral. They made the process much easier on us.
It takes a special gift to guide the grieving though the burial of a loved one, but Bill Reece and his team are gifted many times over. Reece Funnel Home has buried many of my family and if I was to be buried there, I'd want Reece to be the ones to take of my body after life. Thank you Bill and Quinn for the last 2 days and the two weeks leading up to yesterday. You made it effortless for me as I buried my Aunt.
Our family has very much appreciated Reese's help and support through the deaths and funerals of our grandparents. They have been kind, patient, understanding, and thoughtful. We recommend their services!

Frequently Asked Questions About Reece Funeral Home
How much does direct cremation cost at Reece Funeral Home?
Reece Funeral Home lists direct cremation from $1,890 in Ottumwa, Iowa. That is a listed starting price, not a quote. Ask for a written, itemized price list before paying — any funeral provider must give you one on request under the FTC Funeral Rule.
What cremation packages does Reece Funeral Home list prices for?
Reece Funeral Home publishes starting prices for direct cremation from $1,890, cremation with a memorial service from $6,635 and a full-service funeral with cremation from $8,720. What each package includes varies between providers, so ask for an itemized list of exactly what is and is not covered before comparing those figures with anyone else’s.
How is Reece Funeral Home rated?
Reece Funeral Home is rated 4.6 out of 5 from 35 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Reece Funeral Home located?
Reece Funeral Home is at 607 2nd St E, Ottumwa, IA 52501, and we list them under Ottumwa, Iowa. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Reece Funeral Home whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Reece Funeral Home?
Call Reece Funeral Home at +1 641-682-4509 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
Is this listing verified by Reece Funeral Home?
No. This listing was compiled from public sources and has not been claimed by Reece Funeral Home, so we cannot confirm the details with the business. Treat the prices and contact details on this page as a starting point and confirm them directly.
Can I get quotes from other Ottumwa providers too?
Yes. We list 3 cremation providers in Ottumwa, and the free quote form on this page goes to local providers, not only Reece Funeral Home. Comparing at least three itemized quotes for the same service is the simplest way to tell whether a price is fair.
Prices, ratings and contact details on this page come from the listing we hold for Reece Funeral Home and are refreshed periodically — confirm anything you are relying on directly with the provider.
