They were very professional and helpful for my dad's funeral. I now see why they have been around for so long.
Jay Doolittle and his coworkers arranged for the burial of my father with the Connecticut Veterans Cemetery. He was efficient and compassionate with all aspects of this work, charged a fair price, and was easy to do business with. We had a beautiful graveside service with military honors, and all my wife and I had to do was talk with him for a bit and answer a few questions. I highly recommend the Doolittle family for your needs.
I used Doolittle Funeral Home for my mother 8 years ago and my father this past August. They were so incredible. Heidi is a true Angel. They did not pressure me for money other than the down payment. I cannot imagine going through this process with anyone else. Considering the reason I was there, this was a most pleasant and comforting experience. Hard to say pleasant when ralking about lising a parent; but it was. They made me feel like family at a time when I list mine. Just amazing!

Frequently Asked Questions About Doolittle Funeral Service Inc
How much does direct cremation cost at Doolittle Funeral Service Inc?
Doolittle Funeral Service Inc has not published a direct cremation price with us, so this page does not list one. Call +1 860-346-6464 and ask for the total price in writing before you agree to anything.
How is Doolittle Funeral Service Inc rated?
Doolittle Funeral Service Inc is rated 5.0 out of 5 from 9 reviews. That rating and review count come from the provider’s public Google listing, not from Local Cremation Guide. A rating says nothing about price, so compare quotes as well as reviews.
Where is Doolittle Funeral Service Inc located?
Doolittle Funeral Service Inc is at 14 Old Church St, Middletown, CT 06457, and we list them under Middletown, Connecticut. Cremation providers often collect from surrounding towns, hospitals and hospices as well, but coverage and any mileage charge vary — ask Doolittle Funeral Service Inc whether they serve your address and what transportation is included in the price.
How do I get an itemized quote from Doolittle Funeral Service Inc?
Call Doolittle Funeral Service Inc at +1 860-346-6464 and ask for their General Price List. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, any funeral provider must give you an itemized price list on request and must quote prices over the phone. Line the same items up across providers — the cremation fee, transportation, the basic container, filing the death certificate and certified copies — so you are comparing like with like.
Is this listing verified by Doolittle Funeral Service Inc?
No. This listing was compiled from public sources and has not been claimed by Doolittle Funeral Service Inc, so we cannot confirm the details with the business. Treat the prices and contact details on this page as a starting point and confirm them directly.
Can I get quotes from other Middletown providers too?
Yes. We list 6 cremation providers in Middletown, and the free quote form on this page goes to local providers, not only Doolittle Funeral Service Inc. Comparing at least three itemized quotes for the same service is the simplest way to tell whether a price is fair.
Prices, ratings and contact details on this page come from the listing we hold for Doolittle Funeral Service Inc and are refreshed periodically — confirm anything you are relying on directly with the provider.
