I cant thank Newkirk & Whitney enough for their contribution towards my sisters funeral service 9/5/25. We worked closely with the funeral director Justin who was so attentive and showed so much compassion during this difficult time. I can text and call him anytime, he always responded so quickly. I was able to leave my loved one in their care with no worries. Being a nurse for over 10 years, I look for people with empathy and found it at Newkirk & Whitney. They super exceeded my expectations, I would give them 100 stars if I could.

Newkirk & Whitney was very compassionate. They were very helpful in all that needed to be done. They were able to locate the records from my Dad's death in 1999 so that my sister and I could plan for my Mom according to what she planned for him in 1999. They still are there for us if we need anything further.

When our mother passed away, we were overwhelmed by the grief of our loss, but the team at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home made the entire process so much easier for our family. From the moment we walked in, Christopher, Bonnie, Lauren, Taylor, Angela, and the rest of the staff showed us nothing but care, compassion, and professionalism. They took the time to listen to our wishes, offered guidance, and ensured every detail was handled with sensitivity and respect. They made a difficult time feel just a little bit more manageable by being patient and understanding with every step. We truly appreciate everything the team at Newkirk and Whitney did for us, and we cant thank them enough for their support and kindness. If you are Ghanaian, I highly recommend them. They are familiar with our customs and also work with Auntie Ohemaa to help prep the body (Priscilla).
