Maryland Cremation Services

I was referred to this business from my friend whose mom died the day before my Dad in December. The staff were professional, attentive, thorough, and compassionate. It was also fantastic to not have to go through a funeral home and pay additional costs since going directly through Maryland Cremation cuts out the middle man. The value is outstanding and there are no hidden fees! I would specifically like to thank Brian, Rachel, and the lady who was there to give us the ashes (Chris?). I also spoke to the owner at one point and she, too, was great. I will be referring all I know who are seeking cremation services to this business.

My fathers passing was the first immediate family member death I have had to directly deal with. I didnt know where to start. Everyone I dealt with from Maryland Cremation Services was very kind, professional and understanding. They didnt hesitate to answer all the questions I had and help us get through the process. My father was cremated on 12/26/25 and we were able to pick him up to bring him home for the final time yesterday. I cant thank them enough for their assistance in carrying out my fathers final wish of cremation.

My experience with Maryland Cremation Services was nothing but positive. I was a little apprehensive about using them because they were so much cheaper than all of the funeral homes I contacted by a lot. The person I talked to when I called was very professional. I had a specific time I needed them to come due to my aunt coming to see my father before he was taken away and they were very accommodating. Jomar Wright was the man who came to pick up my father from Gilchrist and he was great. He arrived a little early but had no issue waiting for my aunt to arrive. He had a great attitude and acted very professional but also caring. He even went in the room to prepare him better for her to see him. My experience with going to pick up my father's ashes was very smooth and easy. The lady I dealt with there was very nice also.
